Japan Thess: Neighbor Totoro (Free entrance)

Sisters Satsuki and Mei move with their father to an old house in the Japanese countryside so they can live closer to their mother, who is recovering in a nearby hospital. Their new surroundings soon reveal a hidden world filled with mysterious creatures and spirits living in the neighbouring forest.

Among them is Totoro, a huge and gentle forest spirit who becomes the girls' companion as everyday life gives way to moments of extraordinary wonder. Hayao Miyazaki's beloved Studio Ghibli classic is a tender celebration of childhood, imagination, family and the natural world.
