Elliot and Beverly Mantle are identical twins and successful gynecologists who share almost every aspect of their lives — their career, their apartment and, without their partners knowing, many of the same women.
Their carefully balanced relationship begins to collapse when actress Claire Niveau enters their lives. Desire, jealousy and dependency gradually blur the boundaries between the brothers, leading them into an increasingly disturbing psychological spiral.
