Recently released from prison, Corky takes a renovation job in an apartment building and soon meets her seductive neighbor Violet. Their attraction is immediate, but Violet lives with Caesar, a volatile gangster responsible for handling money for the Mafia. Their secret affair soon becomes more than an escape: it offers both women the possibility of an entirely new life.
When two million dollars in mob money comes into Caesar's possession, Corky and Violet devise an audacious plan to steal it and make Caesar take the blame.
