Scream

In the small town of Woodsboro, a series of brutal murders sends shockwaves through the community. A mysterious killer wearing a distinctive white mask terrorises victims with phone calls and questions about horror movies before attacking.
At the centre of the nightmare is teenager Sidney Prescott, who is still struggling with the murder of her mother. As the attacks continue, Sidney and her friends discover that the familiar rules of horror movies may have terrifying consequences in real life. Wes Craven reinvents the slasher genre with a clever blend of suspense, dark humour and self-aware cinematic references.
